Village Public Health, 811 N Grant St #6, Little Rock, AR 72205, USA

About the event

Join Dr. Quinyatta Mumford for a midday gathering featuring a screening of the film What I Wish My Parents Knew, followed by an open conversation among health educators about what youth are asking adults to understand about communication, relationships, and health.

The discussion will be guided by this year’s National Public Health Week theme, Ready, Set, ACT, which invites us to reflect on three important questions.

Ready: Are we truly listening to what young people are telling us about their needs, challenges, and hopes?

Set: How can health educators strengthen the relationships between youth, families, schools, and communities so that prevention and communication become part of everyday life?
