Real Talk.   Real Prevention.   Real Power.

A Village Public Health Initiative

Vibe Safe is Village Public Health’s bold, youth-centered initiative addressing the sexual health crisis impacting youth and young adults. Designed for ages 13 to 24, Vibe Safe brings truth, tools, and trusted voices to the frontlines of HIV/STI prevention, healthy relationships, and wellness education.

OUR APROACH.

At Village Public Health, our work is guided by three core values. We believe in education with empathy, creating safe and open spaces where learning feels relatable, practical, and empowering never rooted in scare tactics. We emphasize empowerment over shame, focusing not on judgment but on equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to thrive. And we are committed to purpose-driven public health, ensuring everything we do is intentional, evidence-based, and grounded in culturally relevant education that prepares youth for strong, sustainable futures.

We know that real impact happens when information becomes action, and action becomes transformation. That’s why every part of our approach is intentionally designed to be clear, relatable, and immediately useful for the teens and families we serve. Through interactive sessions, hands-on tools, and consistent guidance, we help youth build the confidence to make informed decisions and help caregivers feel empowered in their role. When everyone understands their part in creating safer pathways for young people, prevention becomes a shared responsibility and lasting change becomes possible.

Real Conversations That Meet Youth Where They Are.

We don’t teach at youth, we talk with them. Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally aware conversations that meet teens exactly where they are emotionally, mentally, and socially. Every session creates a safe space for real questions, honest dialogue, and practical guidance that connects to what they’re navigating in their everyday lives. We focus on helping youth feel understood, supported, and empowered to make decisions that protect their health and their future.

Skills That Build Confidence and Safer Choices

Prevention takes more than information, it requires confidence, clarity, and skills youth can actually use. Our programs help teens build self-awareness, communication skills, and decision-making tools that promote healthier behaviors. Each lesson is designed to increase confidence while addressing the real challenges youth face around identity, relationships, peer pressure, and risk. When young people understand their choices and feel empowered, they are far more likely to stay safe.

Support for Parents, Schools, and Youth-Serving Professionals

Youth aren’t navigating these issues alone, the adults around them play a huge role. That’s why we equip parents, educators, and youth-serving professionals with resources, language, and strategies that strengthen their ability to support teens. Whether it’s through coaching, workshops, or practical tools, we help adults create environments that reinforce resilience, safety, and trust. When youth and adults work together, outcomes improve and communities grow stronger.

WHAT  WE TEACH

Vibe Safe centers medically accurate, culturally grounded, and trauma-informed education. Every session, whether it’s a one-time visit or a year-long program—is about more than information. It’s about transformation.

Through real conversations, peer leadership, and trusted adult partnerships, we empower youth to:

Understand their bodies, boundaries, and choices

Navigate relationships with confidence

Prevent HIV, STIs, and unplanned pregnancies

Access testing and care without fear

Heal, grow, and lead with purpose
