OUR CORE
OUR APROACH.
At Village Public Health, our work is guided by three core values. We believe in education with empathy, creating safe and open spaces where learning feels relatable, practical, and empowering never rooted in scare tactics. We emphasize empowerment over shame, focusing not on judgment but on equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to thrive. And we are committed to purpose-driven public health, ensuring everything we do is intentional, evidence-based, and grounded in culturally relevant education that prepares youth for strong, sustainable futures.
We don’t believe in scare tactics. Instead, we create safe, open spaces where learning feels relatable and empowering.
Our approach isn’t about judgment. We equip young people with skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive.
Everything we do is intentional, evidence-based strategies, culturally relevant education, and support that prepares youth for strong futures.

WHAT WE TEACH
Vibe Safe centers medically accurate, culturally grounded, and trauma-informed education. Every session—whether it’s a one-time visit or a year-long program—is about more than information. It’s about transformation.
Through real conversations, peer leadership, and trusted adult partnerships, we empower youth to:
Understand their bodies, boundaries, and choices
Navigate relationships with confidence
Prevent HIV, STIs, and unplanned pregnancies
Access testing and care without fear
Heal, grow, and lead with purpose
OUR PROGRAMS
Built with YOU in mind
We believe one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why Vibe Safe offers three nationally recognized, evidence-based programs—allowing us to meet youth where they are.
Wyman’s TOP® 2.0
A positive youth development program that reduces risky behaviors and builds leadership through service learning, goal setting, and social-emotional development. Ideal for semester or year-long school and community-based programs.
Love Notes 4.0
(The Dibble Institute)
A trauma-informed, relationship-centered curriculum that helps youth explore communication, consent, boundaries, and decision-making. Love Notes 4.0 is especially impactful for youth with a history of trauma, dating violence, or instability in relationships and housing.
Project With
(The Dibble Institute)
Designed for justice-involved youth, Project With is a healing-centered curriculum focused on emotional regulation, personal reflection, and protective decision-making. It offers a safe, structured space for teens in diversion, detention, or reentry programs.

Certified and Peer Co-Facilitation: All Vibe Safe sessions are led by Certified Health Education Specialists and trained Youth Community Health Workers, ensuring relatable, research-based, and culturally grounded instruction.
Multi-Level Engagement: From one-time sessions to full-year series, Vibe Safe offers flexible program lengths based on partner needs.

THE VIBE CHECK TOUR
We don’t wait for youth to come to us—we go to them.
The Vibe Check Tour is our mobile, flexible implementation model that brings Vibe Safe programming directly into schools, detention centers, group homes, churches, and community spaces.
We call it a Vibe Check because it’s a pulse check on what our youth are facing, feeling, and fighting.
It’s how we assess the needs, offer support, and shift the culture from crisis to care.

Whether it’s a single session or a long-term partnership, The Vibe Check Tour is about showing up—and staying present.
