Supporting Parents, Empowering Teens

About Village Public Health

Raising a teenager is tough. One minute, they’re your baby, and the next, they’re pulling away, trying to figure out life on their own. As parents, we want to guide them, but sometimes, it feels like they don’t hear us. That’s where Village Public Health comes in. We provide health coaching for teens and young adults, giving them the tools, guidance, and support they need to make good decisions and build a healthy future.

The MidSouth Black Expo is Postponed – But We’re Still Showing Up for You!

Parenting is Hard. We’re Here to Make It Easier.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything you can for your child, but it’s just not enough—you’re not alone. Maybe they’re struggling in school, making risky choices, or just seeming distant. It’s frustrating and exhausting, and sometimes, you just need backup.

That’s why we’re here. We’re showing up at the MidSouth Black Expo, now happening March 8, to connect with parents like you. No matter what challenges your child is facing, we have strategies, tools, and real support to help them thrive.

What is Health Coaching & Why Does It Matter?

Health coaching is like having a mentor, accountability partner, and life coach all in one. We work with teens and young adults to help them:

Manage stress and anxiety without shutting down

Make better decisions about friendships, relationships, and daily choices

Build confidence and independence so they don’t feel lost navigating life

Develop healthier habits around sleep, nutrition, and self-care

Set goals and follow through so they can build a future they’re excited about

For parents, health coaching means having a team in your corner—a trusted professional helping reinforce the values and skills you want for your child.
